Plan your trip to the Brecon Beacons National Park
The Brecon Beacons National Park lies on the border between Mid Wales and South Wales, just west of Herefordshire. It includes parts of the Welsh counties of Powys, Carmarthenshire, Monmouthshire, Rhondda and Merthyr Tydfil. With great connections from London, Cardiff, Birmingham and Manchester, it’s easier to get to this part of Wales than you might think.
Once you’re here, you’ll find plenty of ways to get around, from buses and trains to cycling and walking routes. We even have an eco-friendly electric car hire scheme.
You can stay right inside the park. We have a huge range of accommodation. Whether you’d like to camp in a yurt, chill out in a cosy B&B, spoil yourself in a spa hotel or relax under your own roof in a charming cottage, a warm welcome awaits.
Any questions? Just ask the friendly staff at our visitor information centres – they’ll be delighted to help.
